I was interviewed by Chris Borrelli of the Chicago Tribune yesterday. We spoke for about 10-15 minutes about Lance Briggs Comic site. Its a social network Lance created through the Ning network. I am a member of the site and Chris saw my name, where I was from and thought I might be friends with Lance. Although we are not friends, I did have the pleasure of watching him play for the Wildcats here in my hometown. For those of you who don't know who Lance Briggs is, he's a Linebacker for the NFL's Chicago Bears and a former Arizona Wildcat. Seems as though Lance is also a big comic fan, hence the site Lances Comic World - check it out
[link] What Chris wanted to know was how I felt about Lance being a big Football star and a comic lover, how it made me feel to know that this "big nasty" football player is also a "comic geek". Chris also asked me about how I create my customs but I believe it was more out of curiousity than wanting something to put in the story. Chris says he spoke to numerous people for the story so I don't know if I'll be in the article but did say that while my response was along the same lines as what he was told by everyone else he talked to, I was the most articulate at getting my point across. Chris was not sure when it was going to run but I will be on the look out!
